Nationally known book artists and teachers, Julie Chen, Clifton Meador, Barbara Tetenbaum and Philip Zimmermann teamed up to conceive of an exhibition that would examine what happens when the art is approached from the lens of reading. Through the combination of visual displays and artists books created for that purpose, these four artists have created an exhibition that challenges preconceived notions and engages their audience in a way that only book artists can.  They clearly demonstrate that the written word and how it is delivered is a rich and powerful source for the creation of fine art.  The possibilities are indeed endless.
