Seager Gray Gallery, Mill Valley, presents Material Matters, their 9th yearly exhibition of material-based art. The focus is on artists who interact with their materials in original ways, often pushing the boundaries of what their medium can achieve. 

This year’s exhibition features 19 artists working in paint, graphite, wood, weaving, steel, textile, thread, blown glass, clay, wire and bronze. 

Artists include Robert Adams, George-Ann Bowers, Joe Brubaker, Lia Cook, Stephen Paul Day, Tess Felix, Susan Hope Fogel, Rebecca Fox, Bruce Hasson, Andrew Hayes, Lisa Kokin, Nancy Legge, Claudia Marseille, Emily Payne, Jenny Phillips, Jane Rosen, Nick Taylor, Larry Thomas and Julia Westerbeke.
