hand painted vitreography and beeswax

“Pilchuck Rocks” is a drawing that Rosen did when she was at Pilchuck Glass School. It began as a vitreograph, a print drawn on a glass matrix and then it was handpainted and waxed with beeswax. The bird is a Hawk Eagle, known as an accipitriform, a hybrid bred from an eagle and hawk.
