About the Artists:

Bio

Alisa Banks is a visual artist whose work centers on issues concerning identity. She often incorporates fibers and found materials that in form reference traditional crafts, particularly the quilt. Her work has been exhibited abroad and throughout the US and is in several private and university collections.
Ms. Banks received her BS from Oklahoma State University and her MFA from Texas Woman’s University. She resides in Dallas, TX.
