Although Seager Gray Gallery left the space at 108 Throckmorton Ave, we are continuing to operate as Seager Gray Gallery for the foreseeable future. We invite all inquiries.
After that time, we hope you will visit Suzanne who is partnered now with Kelly Scott of The Goods at Mill Valley Mercantile, a staple in the downtown boutique community. Long known as a family-owned women’s clothing boutique, the store has been a cherished destination for fashion enthusiasts for over two decades.
After 45 years in the gallery business, Donna Seager is letting go of brick and mortar to create Donna Seager Fine Arts & Artists’ Books. She has secured an office and viewing area in the front of Art Brokers in San Rafael at 425 Irwin Street, open by appointment only. She will also have a booth at the San Francisco Fine Art Fair in April. Her hope is to continue to work with artists and collectors and pursue creative options for curating exhibitions online, at fairs and occasional pop-up opportunities. She looks forward to continuing and expanding her focus on book-related arts. Watch for donnaseager.com to go live in the near future.
Both Seager and Gray have deep roots in Mill Valley and their feelings about leaving their gallery are bittersweet. Both raised their children here and have friendships that have lasted decades. The space has been a gallerist’s dream with extraordinary light and windows looking out on the town square and the daily life of Mill Valley.
Proud of their exhibition history, they treasure the relationships they have had with artists, collectors and their fellow merchants. They are grateful to Mill Valley, Marin County and the entire Bay Area for all the support over the years. Stay in touch!
